4th of July – America’s 250th at Cavallo Point

Few places are better suited to celebrate America’s 250th birthday than Cavallo Point, a historic lodge set at the foot of the Golden Gate Bridge on the grounds of a former U.S. Army post. On July 4, the property will host an afternoon of classic Americana festivities, including a Fourth of July BBQ, live jazz on the Callippe Terrace, local artisan vendors, kite flying and face painting for kids, and historic tours that bring the property's military past to life. As the sun sets over San Francisco Bay, guests can settle in for a uniquely spectacular fireworks viewing experience. This year, fireworks will launch directly from the Golden Gate Bridge, illuminating the sky above one of the world's most iconic landmarks and creating a front-row celebration unlike anywhere else.
