DESCRIPTION:There will be a presentation on the Shroud of Turin on January 17 at 6:30 pm in St. Mary Star of the Sea Church Hall\, at 180 Harrison Ave.  \n\n\n\nThe Shroud is a linen burial cloth that some people think shows the cloth that covered Jesus after his death. Father Michael Hurley\, Pastor of St. Dominics Church\, will give the presentation. He will discuss the history and scientific tests that have been done to confirm or question the authenticity of the Shroud.  He will let the audience draw their own conclusions. The Catholic Church has not authenticated the Shroud.\n\n\n\nAll are invited. There is no charge for attending the presentation.
