DESCRIPTION:Come meet the five candidates running for Sausalito City Council on September 10\, 9:30 am at Dita's Marin.\n\nThis event is being held in lieu of the September Business Exchange Meeting.\n\n\n\nThis event is free and open to the public. Registration required by 9/9.\n\n\n\nFive candidates will vie for three open seats on the Sausalito City Council in the General Municipal Election on November 5\, 2024.\n\n\n\nThe following candidates will appear on the ballots of Sausalito voters:\n\n  Jacqueline Amrikhas\n\n  Melissa Blaustein (incumbent)\n\n  Sandra Bushmaker\n\n  Ian Sobieski (incumbent)\n\n  Steven Woodside\n\n\n\nCoffee and light snacks: 9 am   9:30 am\n\nForum: 9:30 am\n\n\n\nWelcome and Introduction of five candidates (5 minutes)\n\n  Candidate's Opening Statement (2 minutes per candidate\, 10 minutes total)\n\n  Candidate shares their background and reason for running for council\n\n\n\nPre-Submitted Questions (15 minutes)\n\n  Moderator asks questions provided by GAC\n\n  Candidate provides responses (questions submitted prior to event)\n\n\n\nAudience Q&A (20 minutes)\n\n  Audience members ask questions directly to the candidate\n\n  Candidate responds to each question\n\n\n\nMeeting Adjourned at 10:30\n\n\n\n* * *\n\n\n\nBusiness Exchange Forum is held on the 2nd Tuesday of the month\, from 9-10:30am. The locations of the forums vary each month. Check our Event Calendar for set meeting locations.\n\nBusiness Exchange is a monthly business meeting where Chamber members\, the Chamber Chair and CEO\, the City Manager and representatives from the Chamber Board of Directors and City Council meet to discuss current business issues and to promote upcoming events and programs. Hosting a Business Exchange Meeting or a After Hours event is a great opportunity to showcase you business.\nThe Business Exchange Committee sets the Agenda of topics to be presented and discussed\, one week in advance of the meeting. Agendas are emailed our to members on the Friday prior to the meeting. If you would like to have a particular topic discussed at the meeting\, please contact the Chamber at 415-331-7262 or email chamber@sausalito.org at least two weeks prior the meeting
