DESCRIPTION:About the Festivities\n\nThis day full of events is free and open to the public. We are celebrating with a parade\, live music\, food\, games\, and fireworks!\n\nDONATE TO THE FIREWORKS\n\n 4th of July Schedule of Events:\n\n10:00am: Parade starts in Old Town\n\n12:00pm-4:00pm: Picnic at Dunphy Park\n\n6:30pm: Evening party at Gabrielson Park\n\n9:15pm-9:45pm: Fireworks show at Gabrielson Park\n\n \nParade\n\nSign up to participate in the 2025 parade HERE. \n\nThis year's Grand Marshal will be Yoshi Tome\, a Sausalito business owner since 1986\, who is very involved in the Chamber of Commerce and supporter of Sister Cities program with Sakaide\, Japan!\n\nThe parade will begin at 10:00 a.m. and starts on the corner of Second and Main\, it moves along Bridgeway to Caledonia Street and ends at Dunphy Park.\n\n \n\nNOTE Street Closure 9:45a - 11:45a: Main St. and 2nd St up Bridgeway\, all of Caledonia St. up to Bridgeway and Napa will be closed to thru traffic.\n\nPicnic\n\nGather for an afternoon picnic at Dunphy Park. The Craig Cafall Band will play from 12:30-4:00pm in the gazebo. We'll host our annual egg toss and tug of war competitions. \n\nSausalito Rotary will be selling hot dogs and hamburgers. Galilee Harbor will sell fish & chips\, fries\, corn\, and watermelon. The Rec'ers will be serving wine\, margaritas\, and beer and accepting cash only. \n\nSausalito Parks & Recreation will have sodas and locally designed t-shirts for sale.\n\nT-Shirt Design Contest\n\nCongratulations Dillon Froelich for designing the 2025 Sausalito 4th of July shirt! \n\nFireworks\n\nThe evening events will take place at Gabrielson Park. The lively band Top Shelf Classics is sure to keep you dancing from 6:30-9pm. Fireworks will begin around 9:15pm and last for half an hour.\n\nCasablanca Moroccan & Mediterranean will be serving food. They are accepting cash and/or card.\n\nBring your blankets\, beach chairs (low to the ground and no high backs)\, or reserve a table. \n\nOur ability to provide fireworks every year is solely based on donations. We need your help! Tables are available for use from 6pm until the end of the fireworks. Each table includes 6 chairs.
